   @bob I think the important thing to realize is that while the social pressure to not have backdoors keeps programmers honest, it doesn't make bad programmers, or even good programmers who get a bit sloppy, more secure.  Just less likely to want to be a toadie.  IMO.

   For those that have it, uninstall Street Fighter V immediately.  A component of it's DRM allows arbitrary execution of any input user commands in kernel mode.

   A web standard only becomes a standard if we accept and use it.  Any proposed standard with DRM should be dismissed at every level.

    Software that has a non-commercial clause, is not free software, because by restricting the manner in which it is used, it is not respecting the four freedoms.
