Now !TIL: Getting previously typed complete command lines back from .bash_history by typing the first few characters and then using cursor up/down. This is the solution I found (and already tested; it works): https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/5366/command-line-completion-from-command-history/20830#20830 -

Atari-Frosch (atarifrosch)'s status on Thursday, 14-Jun-2018 10:28:49 EDT Atari-Frosch !TIL: exFAT has been adopted by the SD Card Association as the default file system for SDXC cards larger than 32 GiB. exFAT has been made by Microsoft, and of course it is proprietary. There is even no documentation publicly available. Bad idea, Canon! In Debian, the package exfat-fuse might help. #freesoftware https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ExFAT -

Atari-Frosch (atarifrosch)'s status on Friday, 04-Aug-2017 11:26:56 EDT Atari-Frosch !TIL: In order to use an HP LaserJet P1005 in #debian I need to use systemd (which I have pinned for good reasons), because I need to install hplip-gui which requires systemd. So, if I want to use this printer, I have to change to a Linux distro (or another unixoid system) that does not depend on systemd. Debian, you're just dying for me. -
