We need more languages in the !Fediverse. The pre-bifucated Identi.ca had lots of Arabic and Farsi and probably Urdu. I don't even know if Urdu has its own script! I used to drive home with a friend who listened to an Urdu radio station -- a good fraction of the words were English, but I don't know if that was just the show host's style, or if British rule had that big an effect on the Urdu language.
