Not a bad first day back at SMU after winter break. I processed the 100 real emails of any note down to an Org-mode Emacs list of TODOs, checked a couple of small items off the list, and I know what I need to do over this remaining week to be ready for class starting on Friday. I don't feel so overwhelmed by the prospect of work when I get the email pile smaller and turn it into action items.
