@mk Quoting another study about non Wikipedia sites still says nothing about the demographics of women who don't use Wikipedia; I see no correlation between Twitter and Pinterest users and Wikipedia non-users. And another thing that bothers me: The author describes women's contributions to other sites as "worthwhile" and "gorgeous, nourishing" but men's contributions as "very dry". Seems to me like a bit of a bias. Of course, it's not meant to be a rigorous academic paper, and it's from a site intentionally critical of Wikipedia.
