I've scanned QR codes, and always been disappointed that it's just an URL (which I can type more quickly than opening my QR app, centering, waiting for auto-focus, scanning, adjusting the angle so the flash doesn't glare, scanning again, then sending the URL to the browser). I once received a business card that was half QR which actually *did* contain useful contact info, but it wasn't marked up as a #vCard so I couldn't import it into my contact book. <sigh>
